Topic: An introduction to SharePoint 2010 development
SharePoint is rapidly becoming one of the major collaboration platforms in enterprise environments. But how do you get started working with SharePoint, and exactly what is it capable of? This session will give you an in-depth look at the building blocks of SharePoint, the process of developing solutions and some of the possibilities the platform can offer.

Speaker: Frode Aarebrot
Born and raised in Norway, Frode Aarebrot moved to Canada in 2005 and joined Solvera Solutions in early 2008. Specializing in SharePoint, he has since worked on numerous successful projects, and has become a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in SharePoint 2010, Application development. Before changing tracks and focusing on software development as a career, he worked in avionics and instrumentation maintenance for the Boeing 737 series aircrafts.
