Paul Laberge on Windows Phone 7.5 codename Mango

The Regina Technology Community welcomes Paul Laberge!

Topic: Local Data in Windows Phone – Coding Your App Just Got a Whole Lot Easier
When Windows Phone 7 launched in November of 2010, one of the common developer complaints revolved around the difficulty they had in creating, accessing and modifying structured data locally on the phone. With Windows Phone 7.5, Microsoft has re-introduced local database access with SQL CE and that means building apps that rely on local data got a whole lot easier. In this session you will learn strategies on how best to use data in your applications, whether through services, locally or both. You will also learn how to create, manage local databases apps in addition how to effectively use LINQ (Language Integrated Query) to access the data in those databases.
