Mike Griffiths on Managing Knowledge Workers

We're switching it up for our next event! Join us for lunch at the Delta on April 10th. We've partnered with CIPS Saskatchewan to bring Mike Griffiths to Regina to present Managing Knowledge Workers and we've got your ticket!

Topic: Managing Knowledge Workers
Today’s complex projects provide many challenges to the traditional plan-the-work, work-the-plan approaches to project management. Uncertainty, unproven technology, and compressed timelines characterize the Knowledge Worker projects that now dominate modern organizational work. This presentation examines a solution to these challenges that comes from an unlikely source – the software industry. It explains how agile methods use leadership techniques to form groups, steer teams, and solve complex problems that can stifle traditional project management approaches.
